Drive out past Lakeside, Ramona, Alpine or Jamul and you’ll see it: fence lines, horse property, avocado groves, long dirt driveways and a lot of acreage that needs work every week. That’s where a utility side-by-side earns its keep. CFMOTO’s UFORCE line is built for exactly that kind of job.
Here’s how to pick the right one for your property or business.
What makes UFORCE different from ZFORCE
ZFORCE is built to go fast on trails. UFORCE is built to work. That means a dump bed, a 2-inch receiver for towing, and a cab designed to be climbed in and out of all day. It’s still plenty capable off-road, but the priority is hauling, towing and getting chores done.
The UFORCE lineup
UFORCE 600
The entry point. If your property is a few acres and the work is mostly hauling feed, tools and irrigation parts around, the 600 may be all you need. It’s also easier on the wallet. Tell us what you’ll carry and tow, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s enough.
UFORCE 1000
The workhorse. The UFORCE 1000 is rated to tow 2,500 lb, which covers a lot of small trailers, wood splitters and equipment loads. For bigger properties, steeper terrain and regular towing, this is where most ranch owners land.
UFORCE 1000 XL
A bigger take on the 1000 for owners who want more room. If you’re regularly hauling a crew or need more space, look at the XL and compare it against the standard 1000. Check the current spec sheet for seating and bed dimensions.
U10 Pro
The top of the utility line, with a 999cc engine and premium cab options. If your machine is going to be your daily work vehicle on a large ranch or a commercial jobsite, and you’ll be in it in cold mornings, hot afternoons and dust, the U10 Pro is built for that.
Bed, towing and cab: what to think about
- Bed: Think about what actually goes in it. Feed bags, fencing, tools, firewood, irrigation pipe. A dump bed makes unloading gravel or mulch a one-person job.
- Towing: Know what you’ll pull. Every UFORCE has a 2-inch receiver, and the 1000 is rated for 2,500 lb. Stay inside the rating for your exact model; ask us for the number on the unit you’re looking at.
- Cab: East County summers are hot and dusty, and winter mornings in the hills get cold. A roof and windshield are the first upgrades most owners add. The U10 Pro offers premium cab options. For other models, we can set you up with roofs, windshields and rear panels.
For contractors and businesses
Landscapers, fencing crews, solar installers and anyone working big lots or rough sites can move people and material faster with a UFORCE than on foot or in a truck that can’t go off the pad. Tell us what your crew does, and we’ll help match a model and accessories. Financing runs through multiple lenders, and we accept trade-ins of any brand toward your down payment.
Accessories that make sense on a work machine
Most of our UFORCE customers add some combination of:
- A roof and full or half windshield
- A winch, bumpers and skid plates
- Bed racks and a spare tire carrier
- Light bars for early starts and late finishes
We keep genuine CFMOTO parts and accessories in stock or a few days out, and we’ll install them here. Genuine parts fit right and keep your factory warranty intact. For more on what to add first, see first accessories for your CFMOTO.
Keep it working
A work machine racks up hours fast. Stay on top of the break-in service and the 50-hour or annual service, and have the belt checked regularly. Our service department in El Cajon gets most jobs out the same day or next, and Saturday drop-offs are available by appointment so you don’t lose a workday.
